The Spirit of Education was on a mission to the John Marshall Elementary School in Wausau on Thursday, October 16. The 5th grade students took part in the various activities on board the shuttle, including “working in space”, operating the mechanical arm, and designing a floor plan for the International Space Station. The Dream Flight USA shuttle mission to Purdue University, planned for October 14 through October 20, has been postponed. Our trip to West Lafayette, Indiana was planned to coincide with the NASA mission to the repair the Hubble Telescope.
