The Spirit of Education has become more than a learning platform. In only its second year of visiting schools throughout the region, the Dream Flight USA shuttle has been invited to air shows, parades, and business events.
The primary mission of the shuttle is to motivate students in the middle elementary grades to learn. The shuttle and crew have visited both public and private elementary schools from Wausau to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Girl Scouts, working on Space Merit Badges, have been on board the shuttle in Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, and Racine.
Several Home Schooling organizations have shown an interest in having a shuttle mission for their students. We would certainly be happy to undertake such missions.
So, what does it take to schedule a mission to your school or event? Send an email to dream@dreamflightusa.com. Put the word “Shuttle” in the subject box, and let us know when you would like the shuttle mission to occur. We’ll get back to you to begin the process of setting the date(s), determining the fees, and providing you with other information you may need to make the shuttle mission a success.
